The 2nd annual fundraising event, “Dancing for the Future” is getting ready for their big night on November 21 at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville to support Queen Anne’s Public Schools. Couples will be waltzing and tangoing to win over judges and votes all to support Queen Anne’s Public Schools.
The chair of the event, Cindy Todd, makes the mission clear, “our goal is to raise much-needed funds to support our students’ education in Queen Anne’s County with a primary focus on technology, cultural arts, and athletics.” In her interview with the Spy, she makes the case that dancing
The doors to the event will open at 7:00 p.m. followed by an open bar and served hors d’oeuvres. There will be an opening presentation and cash bar, as well as, an intermission. During the thirty minute intermission, voting will take place for your favorite dancers. And finally, will be the announcement of winners and then the dance floor is open to all at 11:00 p.m.
