The Chestertown Police have charged two juveniles with alleged malicious destruction of property and trespassing for spraying graffiti on three cars and a building at Philosphers Terrace.
Chestertown Police Chief Adrian Baker said that white spray paint was used to mark the vehicles and the building with profanity and profane symbols of the human anatomy.
The incident took place between the late evening of June 24 and the very early hours of June 25, Baker said in a press release on Tuesday.
Damages are estimated at $5,000. Each minor faces one count of trespassing and four counts of malicious destruction of property.

I am glad. There have been too many instances of vandalism to peoples property. While some seem mino , when they occur again and again the costs climb. Perhaps we should look into some kind of summer program for the youth of Chestertown.

Any discussion of restitution? Again parents are responsible for the actions of their minor children. We protect them when they are small and pay for their mistakes as they grow. Now let the critics roll again…………MY GOD! THEIR CHILDREN HAVE BEEN ARRESTED AND YOU WANT TO CRITICIZE THE PARENTS!

We get mad at this but we are missing the big issue here. A graffiti writer calling himself “frosty” is spraying all over town. he vandalized the complete Bookseller and painted graffiti all over the middle school, including an image of a snow man masturbating. these kids are the small issue. Frosty needs to be dealt with now

Hmmmmmmmm!
FROSTY, that is a clue. I tend to doubt it is you-know-who with the Frosty costume & rap sheet. But someone is defaming the Frosty tradition.
I feel your pain, however. We are suffering in silence as scrappers come through our property, selecting steel scrap, tools and building materials to sell to a scrap yard somewhere.
Like the vandal ( don’t call them artists) ….it could be anyone. Quality of life issue for sure. And the damage mounts up as these guys acquire a fan club.
