Little Creek, Radcliffe Creek School’s preschool, is pleased to announce the hiring of three new teachers who will join the staff this fall.
Andrea Hinderliter will join the team as the assistant lead in the infant care room, which will be led by Lana Brand. Hinderliter has a bachelor of science in education from West Chester University and was the head infant teacher at Traci’s Learning Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Stephanie Thompson joins the Little Creek team as the lead teacher in the two year-old classroom, assisted by Megan Smith, who was an intern with the program last year. Thompson previously worked at Radcliffe Creek as a teacher’s aide and has worked in multiple child care centers and is pursuing her degree in early childhood education.
Christine Sawyer joins the team as the lead teacher in the three year-old classroom, assisted by Brenda Basham, who was previously a staff member in the infant room. A native of the eastern shore, Sawyer has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Stetson University and a master’s in reading education from the University of South Florida. She previously taught kindergarten and most recently was a third grade teacher at Fruitville Elementary in Sarasota, Florida.
The four year-old, pre-kindergarten classroom will be led by Meg McClary, who has been teaching for 14 years and at Radcliffe Creek School for three years. McClary will be assisted by Emily Armstrong, who joined Little Creek last year and previously taught at Little Lights and The Kent Family Center.
The Little Creek program features small class sizes, multi-sensory instruction, and hands-on learning. It offers nine and 12-month option for children from six-weeks through pre-kindergarten. There are a few spots still available for the 2013-2014 school year.
