YMCA in Centreville a Reality with Official Ribbon Cutting

May 10, 2016 by The Spy

It was a special day in Centreville yesterday as a ribbon was cut to officially open the new Queen Anne’s County Family YMCA center just outside of town.

With a large number of elected officials in attendance, led by State of Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot, the new Y plans to be a major health hub for families to be active in spirit, mind and body.

The Spy was able to capture some of the excitement Monday as the new facility opened its doors on 123 Coursevall Drive just south of downtown.

This video is approximately three minutes in length
