Executive Director Bob Parks Receives National Horizons Leadership Award

Bob Parks, Executive Director of Horizons of Kent and Queen Anne’s, received the National Horizons Leadership Award in recognition of his service at the 2016 Horizons National Conference. The award recognizes the remarkable contributions of an Executive Director who has helped grow their affiliate and made significant contributions to the Horizons National Affiliate network. Horizons of Kent and Queen Anne’s is one of 51 Horizons affiliates nationwide.

Horizons National COO Jose Oromi presented Parks with the award and commended him for expanding a rural affiliate and contributing to Horizons on a national level. “Bob embodies the spirit of the Horizons mission—inspiring minds, building community, and transforming lives.” The award was presented at Horizons National’s Annual Dinner Celebration in front of 200 guests in Atlanta, GA on April15th.
