Excellent: Pam Foss Starts New Gallery

December 3, 2014 by

Share

Nationally recognized sculptor Pam Foss is proud to announce the Grand Opening of her new gallery and working studio in Chestertown between 3:00 and 9:00 PM on First Friday, December 5th. The Gallery/Studio is located at 200 High Street across the street from Carla Massoni’s iconic Gallery and adjacent to River Art’s new Clay Studio and the Garfield Theatre.

The Gallery, which is operated by Pam’s husband, Bob, features a stunning collection of recent work, both modern and realistic in hand-made paper and Styrofoam. In the Studio, Pam is hard at work making the Styrofoam armatures for the clay sculpture models on the three life-size St Bernard’s she’s been commissioned to create in bronze for the new Veterinary Center at Ohio State University. Opening night at the Gallery/Studio is your special opportunity to see the St Bernard’s progressing in the studio as well as some of the truly revolutionary works Pam has created in just the past two years.

The Pam Foss Studio/Gallery is a short walk from all of Chestertown’s top art destinations including Patti and Dave Hegland’s Glass Studio, River Arts, Bob Ortiz Studio, and Marilee Schumann and Faith Wilson’s Tree of Life gallery.

So come along and join the Celebration. You know you’ve found us when you see a giant Octopus in the window demonstrating his Christmas spirit by putting the big squeeze on Mr. Grinch. Tis the Season!
