Kent County 4-H Events for December

The following is a listing of 4-H events during the month of December. Please note: volunteers are needed in 4-H. We are looking for volunteers as Kent County Fair 4-H Division chairpersons, judges and much more! Call the Extension Office if interested: 410-778-1661.

December events:

4 – 4-H on the Radio, 12:15 pm, WCTR 0 102.3 FM/1530 AM – “4-H Toy Drive”
6 – 4-H Toy Drive Booth in Fountain Park, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon. Kent County Festival of Trees, Kent Center – Extension/4-H trees will be on display. Please come vote!
12 – 15 –  4-H Toy Drive Final Weekend – Confirmed!
12 Toy Drive Officially Ends
13 – Toy Pick-up at Jennifer’s School of Dance Recital, 1:00 pm – toys to Community Center, Worton
13 – Toy Drive Shopping, 3:00 pm, Walmart in Middletown
14 – Toy Sorting, 1:00 pm, Community Center
15 – Community Food Basket and Toy Packing, 8:30 am – about 2:00 pm, Community Center
15 – Senior 4-H Resume and Essay Class, 7:00 pm, Extension Office
20 – The 4-H Holiday Workshop!! 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Extension Office. Want to help, contact Office! Crafts to make for you or others. Must register by 12/10/14
22 – UME Home & Garden Ctr. 1800 # Help Line is discontinued.  Online access available.
24 – 25 Christmas Holiday ~ Extension Office Closed
30 – 4-H Record Book Work Day, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Extension Office
