University of Maryland Shore Regional Health and its affiliate University of Maryland Shore Medical Group recently welcomed a new cardiologist to its team at Chesapeake Cardiology. Benjamin F. Remo, MD is joining Drs. John Condit, Robert Hanna, Jr., Bruce Helmly, and Christadoss Rajasingh, and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners, Patricia Lancaster and Debra Tribett, at the Chesapeake Cardiology practice, located at 522 Idlewild Avenue in Easton.
Dr. Remo obtained a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Remo completed clinical fellowships in the Division of Cardiology at NYU School of Medicine and most recently a clinical fellowship in the Division of Electrophysiology at University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
