The Board of Directors and Ralph Dowling, President/CEO, of The Peoples Bank, would like to thank everyone who had a part in making The Peoples Summer Concert Series a success.
Without the assistance and guidance of Tom McHugh the series would not have gotten off the ground. Clark Bjorke ably provided each group with the sound support needed. The Town of Chestertown had the stage set up and waiting every week.
The Dixie Power Trio, Banjo Man & Bill with Tom Anthony, and the Lions of Bluegrass provided entertainment which was greatly enjoyed by all those who attended.
The Chestertown Spy, Chamber of Commmerce, Tidewater Trader, Kent County News and WCTR were instrumental in getting the word out about this new summer concert series.
Finally, thanks to all who came out and enjoyed the concerts. Without your participation in the event, it would not have been the success it turned out to be.
