Julia Gross has been named the new Director of Little School. Julia will take the lead in our pre-Kinderagarten role after serving as the Kent School librarian since 2001. She is certified as a director/senior staff member in preschool or early childhood education center. In addition to her role as librarian, Julia managed Kent School’s before and after school program. She has been instrumental in the success of the Kudner Leyon Visiting Writers Program by inviting acclaimed authors, illustrators and poets to our campus for student workshops. Julia was also a lead teacher in our 2014 summer sessions. “Julia is such a willing contributor to the Kent School community. She brings a quiet determination to each of her roles. Her work ethic and attention to detail will fit well into the Little School environment,” said Gorycki. Julia will be supported by long time Little School teacher, Karen Schauber.
