Peoples Concert a Hit in the Park; Tom McHugh Next on Deck July 17

July 15, 2014 by The Spy

Share

The Peoples Summer Concert Series kicked off last Thursday, July 10, with the Dixie Power Trio. The evening was beautiful despite a call for showers. As is always the case with the DPT, everyone was up and dancing and a good time was had by all in attendance.

The next concert in the series is this Thursday, July 17th Park 6:30 p.m. in Fountain Park on downtown Chestertown. Our own Banjo Man (Tom McHugh) and Bill (Bill Matthews) along with Tom Anthony will be entertaining us with their personal style of Folk Music.

Come on out and enjoy a pleasant evening with Family and Friends. Bring a chair or blanket for seating and pack a picnic to add to the event. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the Chestertown Fire House at the corner of Maple Avenue and Cross Streets.
