Explore the wonder of this early medium that few contemporary artists use, but is a perfect match for painting birds. Traditional hapkido (ˌhäp-ˈkē-dō ) is a “soft” style of martial art. It does not emphasize punches, high kicks or katas. This form of martial art does not rely on strength, size or athleticism so students of all shapes and sizes can learn this great method of self-defense. This is a terrific way to chronicle your interests, hopes and goals, or just enjoy some whimsical fun creating the book you chose. A garden or good thoughts theme will guide you toward creating a completely individual book that reflects your personality and character. Create a unique purse that showcases your personal style. Your one-of-a-kind purse is decorated with fabric pens and rubber stamps by “doodling” on a design and then filling in the “doodles” with paint, glitter, micro beads and other embellishments. Copic Markers (available in 358 colors) are environmentally friendly alcohol based markers that never have to be thrown out. In this class, students learn the four different types of markers (original, sketch, ciao, and wide) that Copic offers.
