My little orange bicycle and I are delighted with the new bike racks. They’re attractive and tidy–no need to tear up sidewalks to install far more expensive racks that get in the way of pedestrians. Thanks a million, Bill Ingersoll! Every bike-friendly addition to Chestertown attracts bike-riding tourists (the word spreads quickly via bicycle clubs) and makes local cyclists feel supported and valued. And, at least as importantly, it means cleaner air for us all.
