Two distinct classes start this January as instructor Hanna Kingsley returns to the Centre for the Arts with classes for those interested in Anime and Chibi drawing basics. “Drawing Anime” starts by teaching the basics of Japanese cartoon characteristics: distinct with bright, colorful, whimsical and beautiful elements. Using this as a starting point, students soon learn to create their own Anime characters. From drafting the image to inking in the final lines, the final work is unique to each participant. This is a three session workshop held on Saturdays starting on January 19 from 9 am to 12 pm. Ages 12 to 18. Class cost is $65 for members and $80 for non members. A $5 materials fee is due to the instructor on the 1st day of class. Registered students will receive a materials list. The deadline for registration is January 11.
