Democrats Pick John LaFerla for Maryland’s First District

September 15, 2012 by Spy Desk

Share

In accordance with the Maryland Democratic Party’s procedures following the resignation of a candidate BEFORE an election, the 12 Democratic Central Committees in MD-1 voted this week and selected Dr. John LaFerla to run against Republican Andy Harris in the November 6, 2012 election. The MDP’s public endorsement is expected shortly.

“We’re ready to fight for every vote in all 12 counties”, the candidate said.

Because the ballots have already been printed, John LaFerla’s name will have to be written in by voters.

According to Erik Gulbrandsen, the LaFerla Campaign manager, “ …our staff is in place across the district and is moving ahead in hyper overdrive to make John LaFerla the next Congressional representative of the people not the 1%. “

THE MDP MUST BE SURE THAT WE VOTERS KNOW EXACTLY HOW WE MUST WRITE IN DR. La FERLA’S RATHER COMPLICATED NAME, SO THAT OUR VOTES WILL NOT BE DISCOUNTED.

It is most important, as Mary Wood says, that voters know exactly how and where to write-in John LaFerla’s name.
Equally important is the presence of poll watchers.

Let us know who the 1% is when you get 10% of the vote.

And you just had to say that.

And I have to say it as well. Envy is the opposite side of the greed coin, and no less odious.

People with money have the means to end run the rules meant to separate it from them. When will people learn?

    Great news.
