State Police Car Accident on Route 213 but No Injuries

On Friday morning at approximately 6:50 AM, Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack responded to the above location for a motor vehicle collision.

Preliminary investigation revealed that State Trouper Isabelle was traveling southbound on Rt. 213 in the area of Rolph’s Wharf Road. According to a witness, there was a small black vehicle traveling north bound in the same area passing traffic. As the vehicle passed, the trooper’s emergency lights came on. The witness stated the trooper made a u-turn on Rt.213 and was struck in the rear by the pick up truck.

There were no reported injuries to either party.

    Hmmmmmmm?
    Cop car going south.
    Pick up going north…..passing cars.
    Cop car makes Uturn……………gets hit by truck that had passed?

    Don’t get a picture here.
    + lights do not just come on……….cop car operator turned on lights.

    Glad nobody was hurt……….can’t tell what happened.
