Dr. Akey Hung offers “The Art of Penjing” on Saturday, February 2 from 10 am -12 pm at the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council’s Centre for the Arts. Dr. Hung will discuss the unique characteristics of this Oriental art, different schools of penjing, the basic styles of tree penjing and bonsai, the techniques used in growing them and the differences between a penjing and a bonsai. $15 non members, $10 members. All ages. The registration deadline is January 25.
