The Center for Cardiopulmonary Fitness and Wellness at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown is hosting a Family and Friends CPR Event on Tuesday, October 18 from 2-4:30 pm. The event will be held in the Conference Center at the Medical Center located at 100 Brown Street in Chestertown.
According to Sherrie Hill, MSN, RN, CCRN, CHFN, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation clinical coordinator of the Cardiopulmonary Fitness and Wellness Center at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown, the Family and Friends CPR class is designed for people who want to learn CPR, but do not need a CPR course completion card for their job. This course is ideal for family members and friends of persons with medical problems, as well as others interested in learning how to save a life.
