SpyCam One Minute Tour: Wye River Upper School’s New Home

October 21, 2014 by The Spy

For those interested in alternative education, urban renewal, architecture, and community development, no project in the Mid-Shore has become more interesting to watch than the re-purposing of the Armory in downtown Centreville. Over the last two years, a remarkable transition has taken place to create a new home for the Wye River Upper School. By using determination and confidence, the School’s leadership has raised almost $6 million for a building many said was not worth saving.

The Spy had a chance to grab a few video shots of the new school, and we’ve added a few photos from 2011 before the project was fully underway.

This video is approximately one minute in length. There is no sound track.
