While social media has seen many thumbs up responses, I still believe this piece would sited better in another place. The center of town is now saturated with these pieces. There is no element of wonder or surprise with so much in such a small area.I do not think that every public space must be graced with public art. I do not believe I am the only person who holds this view but I realize I am one of the most vocal.

As a 3rd generation Kent County resident, I love this piece and think it compliments the park nicely. We are so lucky to have public art!
