Did the Election Board give any reason for the delay? In such a small county it seems very strange that the results form other areas were known before Kent County. It could not have been for lack of help, at times there were more workers in the polls than voters.

Marty — the delay was statewide. With voters still in line in other counties, the state board ruled that no results could be released until everyone had voted.
