Spying on Kent County: Public Comments on Public School Funding

Two nights ago, at Kent County Commissioner meeting, Superintendent of Schools Karen Couch made a strong appeal for the commissioners to close an anticipated funding gap of $1.5 million in the soon to be proposed FY 17-18 Budget.

In the second of two reports, members of the general public shares with the Council their own thoughts and concerns about next year’s school funding.

This video is approximately thirty minutes in length

    it would be terrific if the Spy could offer some sort of summation of comments for those that don’t have 30 minutes to watch a video.
    i understand that efforts are made to get these videos available to the public in a timely manner, and that staff time is limited, but even some cursory reporting would be helpful.
