Judy Crow
“When I was 18, I left the farm, and was convinced I’d never marry a farmer. It was mostly the long hours. [Now} being out here, at sunup and sundown, with the animals, the fragrances, and the land – it’s all just absolutely great. I live for those moments.
Both Roy and I believe the farm, its lifestyle, ruralness, and meals of grass fed beef and other scratch ingredients, will build memories among visitors. So, sustaining and extending the farm is what’s most important to us. We offer diversity for tourists, and believe those coming to our experience will feed the other attractive aspects of Kent County.”

Editor Note: The Chestertown Spy and RiverArts have partnered in 2016 to share the art organization’s community arts project “Humans of Kent County,” designed to celebrate the wonderful, unique folks who live and work in Kent County. Citizens are invited to interview and photograph from young to old from all corners of the county and to submit a photograph and brief story to be part of the project. It will be posted on the Spy each week and each quarter the most interesting photos and stories will be enlarged and produced for an exhibition at the RiverArts gallery in Chestertown.
