Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament to Benefit Cancer Center at UM Shore Regional Health

The 8th Annual Prostate Golf Tournament benefiting the Cancer Center at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health is set for Thursday, May 12 at River Marsh Golf Club at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, Maryland. The privately hosted annual event supports UM Memorial Hospital Foundation’s David Whitby Memorial Fund, which supportsthe advancement of health care excellence and the improvement of outcomes for prostate cancer patients treated at the Cancer Center. Registration and sponsorship opportunities are still available, and registrations will be accepted for up to 28 teams and the entry fee is $400 per team.

Check in time for the tournament will be 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. There will be two scores per team, per hole as well as one three man scramble and one individual score. Prizes will be awarded to division winners, long drive winner and five closest to the pin winners. Following the tournament, there will be a buffet dinner and awards ceremony, silent auction and prize drawings in the Hyatt Ballroom.

Sponsorships opportunities include:
• Dinner Sponsor — one tee sign, post tournament publicity and name on large tournament banner. $1,000
• Refreshment Sponsor — one tee sign, post tournament publicity and name on large tournament banner. $250
• Birdie Sponsor — one foursome, one tee sign with company logo, post-tournament publicity, and company name on a large tournament banner: $600
• Tee Sign (company, memorial or individual) — $100
