Instructors will share brief descriptions about the upcoming classes and events that will appeal to many different interests.
Participants can sign up to learn Spanish, Italian or German, and cooking enthusiasts can create German foods or practice Ukrainian cuisine under the direction of Katerine Moose, gourmet cook and author of several cookbooks. Yoga and Basic Dance Steps are two classes to improve fitness, and in Nutrition for a Healthy Life nutrition scientist and cookbook author, Dr. Julianna Pax, will discuss foods that keep our hearts and brains healthy. History and current events buffs have opportunities to delve into what’s happening now and what occurred long ago in several history offerings, and Great Decisions will examine foreign policy decision-making. Bill Shepard will give an insider’s look at Canada, New England and Mexico in Wouldn’t You Rather Be on a Cruise, and in Tasting Fine Wines in Europe Shepard will offer participants wines of value and quality for their cost.
For the artist, Zentangle (Tile Variations) will build upon tangles learned in Zentangle basics, while Art in the 21st Century will investigate the global art world. James Bond: A Cultural Icon should appeal to 007 fans. Informal Intro into Jung and Personality will consider the views of Carl Jung regarding personality, and Personal Political Identity: Placing Yourself on the Spectrum gives participants the chance to discover where they identify politically. Rabbi Peter E. Hyman and Bishop Joel Marcus Johnson will lead discussions in Wisdom Literature in the Bible.
