Dear Friends of the Backpack Programs,
THE SECOND ANNUAL CHESTER GRAS, (CHESTERTOWN’S MINI MARDI GRAS CELEBRATION); WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2015. The proceeds will once again benefit the areas Backpack Programs. In order to build on the success of this event’s first year, there are opportunities available to organizations and individuals in the Community who would like to support the children assisted by the Backpack Programs. School children from Kent County and Sudlersville who live in homes with insufficient food supplies are provided with nutritious food for the weekends. The food is donated and distributed to the schools by a multitude of community organizations and individuals.
Here’s how you can help make this event a success!
- Become a Supporter: Your generous gift, whether it be $5.00 or $250.00, will go a long way to help cover some of the costs of this event, including but not limited to: decorations, children’s activities, and Mardi Gras type give a ways.
Any Supporter at the $100 and above level, received by January 15, will receive free tickets for food and beverage at the event.
- Become a Sponsor: Your generous gift (or your business’s) of $250 or more will help cover the major overhead expenses of the event, including but not limited to: tent, heaters, tables, chairs, and advertising.
Any Sponsor at the $250 and above level, received by January 15, will receive free tickets for food and beverage at the event.
In addition, we will proudly display banners of any organization donating at the $500 and above level, and display your logo on any advertising that is placed after receiving your sponsorship.
