Next Week (Nov. 10-14) is National Philanthropy Week. Washington College Center for Career Development is inviting organizations on campus and in the community that have a philanthropic component (either they rely on philanthropy or they have a particular cause they support) to participate in a Non-Profit Fair on Wednesday, November 12.
Interested groups may request a table and the event will feel a bit like an Expo. Attendees can stop by tables and learn more about an organization, how philanthropy benefits an organization, or why philanthropy is part of what they do. Depending on your needs, you might take advantage of the time to fundraise for an upcoming project, to recruit new members, to hand out some swag and spread your message, or raise awareness about a particular issue. Our hope is that through the Fair (and the week in general) our campus can see what a tremendous impact Philanthropy has not only on Washington College, but on our community and in the world.
Here are the details for the Philanthropy Fair as part of National Philanthropy Week:
The Philanthropy Fair will be held in the Goose Nest on November 12, 2014
Set-up is 11:00-11:30
The Fair itself is 11:30-1:30
