Share

Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, Democratic candidate for Governor, and Comptroller Peter Franchot will join the Queen Anne’s County Democratic Club for its annual unity barbecue on Saturday, September 13 from Noon to 3 p.m. at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center (CBEC), 600 Discovery Lane, Grasonville, Maryland.

This event will be a memorable mix of great food, live music, political humor and stump speeches from 2014 candidates, including Congressional candidate Bill Tilghman, State Senate candidate Ben Tilghman, Delegate candidates Irvin Pinder (Queen Anne’s) and Bob Thonrton (Caroline), Queen Anne’s County Commissioner candidates Suzanne Hogan and Fred McNeil, Sheriff candidate Kevin Rhodes, Register of Wills candidate Debbie Callahan, and Orphans Court candidate Dr. Tom Walsh, and School Board candidate Jennifer George.

This is a great opportunity to meet candidates, friends and neighbors. The CBEC facility will be open and offers a great opportunity for parents and children to tour the center and visit the waterfront.

The event is catered by It’s The Pits. Adults $25.00/children under 12 free. To order tickets, visit www.qacdems.org or contact Sharon Addison at 410-827-4237.
