A recent article in Huffington Post by Jeffrey Young looks into the Affordable Health Care Act’s insurance exchanges to find out what might be on the horizon for premium rate hikes. He sorts through much complexity to point out how numbers can be used to bias political opinion:
“Health insurance premiums are going to skyrocket under Obamacare next year, maybe even double! No, wait—they’re only increasing a little, and less than before Obamacare! No, wait—they’re … decreasing in some places?”
The Spy’s question is: is this article merely propaganda or is the truth peeking through? Many of the comments following the article believe the article is shilling for the ACA. But are they really making their cases?
