Taste of the Sassafras Rescheduled to October 10, 2014
Due to a scheduling conflict the Sassafras Business Council (SRBC) has rescheduled the Annual Taste of the Sassafras. The event was originally scheduled to be held on September 12, 2014and will now be held on October 10, 2014 at theKitty Knight House Inn & Restaurant in Georgetown, MD.
The Taste of the Sassafras, now in it’s 4th year, offer highlights of the food and wine vendors from around the Sassafras River region and will again be held under the tented pavilion on the lawn at the Kitty Knight House Inn & Restaurant from 5 to 9 PM. Tastings available until 7 PM. Dancing and entertainment until 9 PM.

The Sassafras Pass (Single $45/Couple $75) Food samplings and open bar from 5-7 PM on the featured wine and beer (mixed drinks and non-featured beverages not included, however there will be a cash bar available).
River Pass (Single $30/Couple $50) Food samplings and one complimentary drink ticket per person to sample the featured beer or wine.
It is one of the fundraisers for the SRBC with proceeds to be used to help various charitable organizations.
