“Chesapeake Voyagers, Inc. opened our doors to our Talbot County location on July 15, 2009. We believe that wellness & recovery is possible for those who have mental health needs. We are run by consumers of mental health services who either work or volunteer their time at the Wellness & Recovery Centers by providing peer support. Our Board of Directors consists of both consumers and community members who have a personal or professional interest in the mental health needs of individuals in the community. ” —from their website.
