UU Church Discussion on “Nonviolent Communication” June 29

On Sun, June 29, 10 AM, Mr. Brad Hardin will lead a discussion entitled “Practicing Nonviolent Communication in Today’s Society” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown.

Practicing Non-Violent/Compassionate Communication (NVC), Dianne Turpin, Dee Hardin and Brad Hardin will introduce this topic mainly through the application of NVC to several real -life examples using role playing. Marshall Rosenberg’s approach can work for anyone who is married, has children, relatives,friends, bosses – maybe even pets?

Audience participation will be encouraged.. Please bring examples of contentious situations from your experience.
