Temptation to repatriate to the Crown was again suppressed by several volleys of musket fire from a blue coated colonial militia as a pitch perfect Tea Party festival unfolded in cool, bright weather. Live music, a parade, vendors, storytelling, live theatre, raft races, reenactments of the colonial revolutionary drama all started with a well attended Radcliffe School fundraiser 10K marathon launched in Wilmer Park.
Here are a few images from the day.
Dr.Keith Wharton says
I thought your pictures of the Tea Party were outstanding. It shows Chestertown as a beautiful place to live. I am, however, very disappointed to notice that with all of the pictures of the parade, there are no pictures of the Kent County High School Band. The groups before and after us were pictured, as was every other musical group. I’m hoping that this is merely an over site. Our students at Kent County High School work very hard and give up a tremendous amount of hours to represent our county. They deserve better than this.
James Dissette says
We are sorry for the oversight and included a photograph of our wonderful KCHS Band.
