Recovery Messaging Seminars to be Held June 12

Recovery For Shore is offering a message training session on June 12 for people in recovery, family and friends of recovery, professionals and advocates ,to help sharpen their skills as a recovery communicator and to learn how to share the story of recovery with purpose and advocacy.

Two session times are available: 2:00-4:00 and 5:30-7:30 and will be held at the UM Shore Health Medical Center at Easton, Health Education Building (219 South Washington Street Enter in the Nick Rajacich Health Education Center).

Participants will increase ability to:

  • Share the story of recovery to promote advocacy
  • Properly share without violating self-help group traditions
  • Promote recovery through media and to advance public policy
