In celebration of National Volunteer Week, Chester River Hospital Auxiliary volunteers were honored for their service to the Auxiliary.

During the celebration, Jack Edson, immediate past president of the Auxiliary, was presented with a special award commemorating his time spent as Auxiliary president.

In addition to services provided by volunteers in patient care areas at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown, Auxiliary members volunteer their time at the Medical Center’s Gift Shop and the Nearly New Shop, both of which raise funds to support programs and services at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.

To learn more about volunteer opportunities with the Chester River Hospital Center Auxiliary, contact the Medical Center at 410-778-3300.
