Alex Smolens, owner of Atlantek Computer Systems in Chestertown, will answer your questions about personal computing at the Thursday morning meeting of the Community Breakfast Group (CBG). Are you interested in finding out how to protect yourself against identity theft? How to choose among Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or OS X Mavericks for the operating system on your next desktop or laptop? What about choosing between Android and Apple cell phones? You can save yourself from making a big mistake by coming to our CBG meeting and learning from a recognized expert in design and support of personal computers.
The CBG meets for breakfast every Thursday at 7:30AM at the Holiday Inn Express in Chestertown. Our meetings start promptly at 7:30AM, so you may want to come at 7:15AM to get your breakfast before the meeting.
Linda Dutton will discuss PFLAG (formerly known as Parents, Friends and Family of Lesbians and Gays) with CBG at their March 20 meeting. The Chestertown chapter of PFLAG is working to achieve passage of legislation offering non-discrimination protection for Marylanders based on their gender identity and expression.
