Spy Profile: Chestertown’s Emergency Room Director Deborah Davis M.D.

February 27, 2014 by Dave Wheelan

Share

You can’t get more local than Dr. Deborah Davis at the Shore Medical Center at Chestertown’s Emergency Room. Born just a few feet away from where she now runs the emergency care division, Dr. Davis is a reassuring presence for those needing immediate health care.

In her interview with the Spy, Dr. Davis discusses how the emergency room works in a small rural community, as well as what it’s like to deal with patients in trauma, many of whom she has known from living in Kent County most of her life.
