Save the Date: RiverArts Gala March 22

February 13, 2014 by RiverArts

Share

RiverArts Annual Gala, coming up on March 22, will be one of the most fun, fundraisers in town! Themed “Art’s Alive — Bella Italia”, the Gala will bring the delights of Italy to Chestertown. Italian themed food, music and decor will transform Kent County’s beautiful new Community Center into an Italian festival, complete with a gondola.

With live and silent auctions and grab bags full of great adventures, boating trips, wining and dining and local artwork, RiverArts Gala promises to be an evening to remember. Participants are encouraged to wear Italian arts themed costumes, but from casual to glam, everyone is welcome to dress as they please.

The money raised at the Gala is crucial to helping our local community arts center succeed in its mission. Proceeds support RiverArts monthly gallery shows, Clay Studio, innovative arts classes and lectures, community outreach and a soon-to-be-opened KidSPOT.

Sponsored in part by The Peoples Bank, and many community-minded merchants who have donated auction items. Tickets are $60. For information on how to buy a ticket, or to contribute something to the fundraising auction, please contact RiverArts at 410-778-6300, or visit ChestertownRiverArts.org.
