Chestertown Recreation Commission to Hold Open Meeting

Chestertown Recreation Commission announces an open meeting for feedback and ideas for all residents. The CRC will offer an update about the state of recreation in Chestertown, the status of existing projects and planned programming for the year.

We will then open the floor for input about new facilities and programming.

Public comment will be open on topics including Gateway Park, Bailey Park, ball fields at KCMS and others. We strongly encourage you to come with working ideas to help guide where the CRC in the coming year.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday February 4 at 6pm at Town Hall.

Additionally, Family Game Night continues at the Kent County Public Library.

A special First Friday event on February 7, will move the games into the Main Building featuring a unique chance to create your own game beginning at 5pm.

KCPL’s Annie Woodall, will be on hand with supplies and imagination to help families design and build their own board game to play and share with others.

Family Game Night will continue on Friday night’s from 6-8pm thru the end of February.

The Chestertown Recreation Commission is a official branch of the Mayor & Council’s office charged with improving recreational opportunities, programming and facilities in the town. Anyone interested in being involved can reach Bill Arrowood, chair, at [email protected].
