Kenneth Abner, council president for the Town of Federalsburg got an early holiday gift recently when he won a MakerBot® Replicator 2 desktop 3D printer through a fundraising raffle sponsored by the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center (ESEC), Easton.
Proceeds from the raffle will support youth “maker” programs at hotDesks, 31901 Tri-County Way, Salisbury, the region’s first co-working space. Other raffle winners include:
- Evan Light of Ocean Pines, developer advocate at Rackspace who won a full-time membership to hotDesks;
- Jeremy Heslop of Salisbury, president of Omni Technology Professionals, Inc., who won a part-time membership; and
- Angela Visintainer of Denton, director of Caroline County Economic Development Corporation, who won a basic membership to hotDesks.
hotDesks, Tri-County Council Multi-Purpose Center, 31901 Tri-County Way, Salisbury, is Maryland Eastern Shore’s first co-working space and is sponsored by the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center (ESEC).
