Chestertown Police Chief Adrian Baker told the Spy on Wednesday that two armed persons wearing hoods and masks robbed the Domino’s Pizza located at 518 Washington Avenue at around 12:20 a.m.
“Two unknown subjects entered the building, displayed a gun and then demanded cash,” Baker said.
The suspects then fled outside to the rear of the building. There were two employees in the store at the time and no one was hurt.
Units of CPD responded within one minute and a Maryland State Police helicopter was called up to search for the suspects.
The Kent Bureau of Investigations is leading the investigation. The suspects remain at large. Baker could not give a description of the suspects.
