UM Shore Regional Health’s “Ask the Expert” tour makes its way into Kent County in November with two sessions in Chestertown. Christopher Parry, DO, a urologist with Shore Comprehensive Urology, will give a free educational talk about “Urology Today: Treating Urological Conditions.” It takes place on Thursday, November 7 at 2 p.m. at the Kent County Library.
Just in time for the upcoming cold and flu season, Frederick Van Dusen, DO, will address “Facts About the Flu.” His talk takes place on Thursday, November 14 at 2 p.m. at the Kent County Library.
Dr. Parry is a board certified urologist with more than 25 years of urological experience. He provides general urology services in the Specialty Clinic, suite 217, located in the Medical Services Building at the UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown campus. He earned his D.O. from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in urology at the Detroit Osteopathic Hospital/Bi-County Community Hospital, in Detroit Michigan.
Dr. Van Dusen, a board certified primary care physician with more than 17 years of experience, provides primary care services for all age groups at his Galena-based office, Galena Family Practice. Dr. VanDusen received his medical training at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Riverside Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.
“Ask the Expert,” is a free community health program sponsored by UM Shore Regional Health. The “Ask the Expert” series is an ongoing program that will be offered during the year throughout the Mid-Shore. The next seminar series takes place in early 2014.
