One Small Step for Man: Serious Pizza Comes to Kingstown

September 24, 2013 by The Spy

Just when you thought there was no hope for Kingstown, Chestertown’s often forgotten hood south of the bridge,  Crimson Pizza & Wine Bar has opened up to bring serious pizza as well as real local food and wine to South 213.

Located at 6346 Church Hill Rd. Chestertown, Md. They are on the QA side just across from the Bowling Alley, next to Emily’s Salon. With fresh local beef from Cedar Run Farm. Gourmet salads, appetizers, panini & desserts, as well as Salisa Wine added, this could be a game changer.

Stay tuned.

    Editor,

Friday is often pizza night at the Kusmider house and we are always up for something new so this past Friday we ordered some carry out from Crimson. I had the fig, gorgonzola, and pancetta pizza (it had a catchy name but it’s escaping me at present…), my husband ordered an everything, and the kids had 1/2 cheese & 1/2 bacon. We even had a bottle of the wine, which was unexpectedly (but not unpleasantly) bubbly. I love that there are pizza toppings that think outside the box–such fun and quite yummy (although I added some arugula to mine and it took it to an even higher level of deliciousness, something for the chef to consider…)

Overall, it was a success! Everyone was happy with their choices and I had a night off from KP. Thanks Crimson–we will be back for more in the not-far-off future.
