On October 11, 2013 Saint Martin’s Ministries will hold their annual arts auction in the Chesapeake Room at the Rock Hall Firehouse. This year’s theme “Under the Big Top…Arts on Parade” will feature renowned local artist, Jayne Bellows. Her lovely original work titled “Canopy” will be highlighted in the live auction.
Bellows is an artist trained in the study of the human figure, landscape and still life. She has earned two advanced degrees in art: BFA from the American Academy of Art and BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago in addition to a BA in history. She is a frequent contributor of cover art for magazines/professional medical journals and her works are placed in numerous private and corporate collections. Jayne also teaches art. She is a past member of the faculty of both the American Academy of Art (Chicago) and the educational program of the Palette and Chisel Academy (Chicago). Saint Martin’s Ministries is grateful for Bellows’ contribution to this year’s arts auction and is honored to be able to feature such a talented artist and her
work.
Every year many talented local artists generously contribute a piece of their skillful artwork to be auctioned off during the live or silent auction at this event. All proceeds benefit Saint Martin’s Ministries.

Jayne is a fabulous artist & teacher . She also sponsors the life drawing sessions for 3 hours on Momdays at 4p.m. The summer break is almost over. Fortunately, Jayne always gets very professional models. I urge others to join us once summer break is over.
Go Jayne!
