Radcliffe Creek School’s Board of Trustees announced, in response to a lead gift, that all donations raised before June 30, 2013 (the end of the School’s fiscal year) up to a total of $20,000 will be matched by the Board. The $40,000 (or more) raised through this challenge will be dedicated to serving families in need who qualify for financial aid.
The intent of the 2013 Board Challenge is to stimulate renewed support from donors who have given in the past, and to encourage individuals and business organizations from the extended community to recognize
(through financial support) the critical role that Radcliffe Creek School plays in early childhood development.
“For many of our families, Radcliffe’s tuition is a challenge,” said the School’s Director, Molly Judge. “We have parents who work second (or third) jobs, have taken loans, second mortgages, and have borrowed from family members to make a Radcliffe education a possibility for their children. Private donationslike those we will receive through the 2013 Board Challenge are critical in providing financial aid to these families.”
Donations to the 2013 Board Challenge can be mailed to 201 Talbot Boulevard, Chestertown, MD 21620 or given online at www.radcliffecreekschool.org/giving/annual-fund/ (please note that your donation is for the
2013 Challenge).
