On Sunday, April 28, 10:00 AM, Rev. John Wright will deliver a sermon entitled “What Are We Doing Here?” to the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown, located in the Crestview subdivision. Rev. Wright explains, “In his book, Serving With Grace, Erik Walker Wikstom says that people come to church to have their lives transformed. Are we doing that? Or are we offering ‘salvation’? In this sermon I hope to take a look at what we do, and think about what we should be doing.”
Join us for a Sunday Service of introspection, learning, reflection and discussion — a UUCR tradition! Religious education for youngsters and childcare for infants and toddlers will also be provided.
