Pam Ortiz, a Chestertoown-based singer songwriter will celebrate the release of her new album, Rattle Them Chains, at a performance and party on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. The event, to be held at Robert Ortiz Studios, 207C S. Cross Street in Chestertown, the woodworking shop of her husband and musical collaborator, Bob Ortiz. The event will feature performances, some background about the original music on the CD, food and raffles.
The album release event will include performance of music from the new album. Ortiz and percussionist husband Bob will be joined for the performance by the Pam Ortiz Band including Ford Schumann (guitar), Nevin Dawson (violin/viola) and Mike Buccino (bass). The evening will also feature other musical guests.
Admission is $5.00, The event will also feature raffles inspired by the title of some of the songs on the album. Attendees will get 3 free raffle tickets and can purchase additional tickets. All ticket and raffle proceeds will benefit the Kent County Food Pantry.
