Those of you who just can’t get enough fireworks displays have three opportunities within Kent and Queen Anne’s Counties to view those fabulous pyrotechnics: this Saturday in Centreville, Tuesday in Rock Hall; Wednesday you’ll have to choose between Georgetown and Chestertown.
The Centreville fireworks are the finale of the town’s annual Centreville Day, featuring plenty of family friendly activities: a kid’s fishing derby, waterslide, facepainting, and live music.
Rock Hall starts the celebrations on Sunday the first, at 1 pm., with the Kent County Watermen’s Day; more family fun plus the Most Patriotic Work Boat Contest, Anchor Toss Contest, Work Boat Docking Contest. The festivities continue with fireworks Tuesday night, and then the ever popular Old Fashioned July 4th Parade on Wednesday.
Chestertown’s fireworks are Wednesday night. Don’t miss the Independent’s Day Celebration in Fountain Park on Friday the 6th, in conjunction with First Friday.
Georgetown boasts a boat parade prior to their fireworks display at dusk on Wednesday, July 4.
Happy viewing !
