Here’s an item for all those who think green and road are an oxymoron: E- The Environmental magazine is reporting that the city of Bellingham, Washington now has an environmentally friendly paved road. Certified by the Greenroads Foundation, the roadway is made of, “….porcelain from over 400 crushed toilets, asphalt with 30% recycled content, recycled concrete; porous pavements that naturally treat runoff and provide effective stormwater management.”

Great idea but with all the crap going on in Annapolis, Maryland would be hard pressed to come up with 400 toilets able to be crushed to complete a project!
