Artist Hallie Rogers Rugg is an accomplished fiber artist who shares her love and knowledge of needlework with a lesson in the colorful and geometric patterns of Bargello, a 17th century style of needlework. This is a straight needlepoint stitch worked in zigzags to create chevron or scallop patterns. A kit with practice canvas will be provided and students may choose from a variety of yarn colors to create a sampler of stitches. Prior needlepoint experience required.
